February 9 & 10 After a year long hiatus, Jose Thomas and GrooveUnction are back to burn new trails with their unique and exciting brand of groove jazz. Formed five years ago by legendary guitarist Jose Thomas, the band boasts some of the hottest upcoming talents; John Thomas on drums, Eric Lee on keyboards, Fly on bass and Kevin Choo on saxophone. The musicians individually have all recently performed at major Jazz Festivals; Jose Thomas at The Java Jazz Festival, John and Kevin at Jarasum International Jazz Fest in South Korea, Eric at the Hua Hin Jazz Fest in Thailand and Fly at the Bangkok Jazz Fest. Now with much verve, GrooveUnction returns to Alexis with a brand new repertoire for a "Night of GrooveJazz with an Attitude". Free admission. Table bookingd for diners only.
