Angelita Li
“A journey of Brazilian & Fusion Jazz” January 19 & 20 Without equal in the region, Hong Kong born songstress Angelita Li is blessed with both beauty & an utterly uncategorizable voice. A spontaneous and lucid performer, she has a reputation of being able to hold her own with the most daring of instrumental improvisers. Angelita has performed extensively at home and abroad and has to date released her first international album “ Caminhos Cruzados” in between lecturing and hosting at Hong Kong’s Radio 4’s Jazzing Up Workshops. Her style ranges from acoustic duo, Brazilian fusion band, classic rock, acid jazz to straight-ahead jazz. Backing Angelita will be our Malaysian All-Star musicians including Lewis Pragasam on drums, Greg Lyons on saxophone, Mac Chew & on keyboards and Andy Peterson on bass. Admission is free.
